Improved collaboration due to connection between Vault, Monitor and iConnect.
In connection with the launch of Autodesk Construction Cloud, a number of new related products have also been launched that are part of the platform. Autodesk Construction Cloud is a collection platform for all Autodesk cloud solutions within AEC. This platform includes the following products presented below.
Sheets and 3D models
Manage project risks
Find qualified suppliers
Manage project schedules
Track issues with BIM 360
Report Microsoft Power BI
Loading drawings using AI
Although it has previously been possible to connect several different platforms, Autodesk has now created a fully interconnected platform for all cloud-based products. Of the above products, BIM 360 is the product that most people know and work with.
BIM 360 is a separate project platform that will remain active, but which is now part of the Autodesk Construction Cloud. The previous products, BIM 360 Docs, – Design, – Build and – Coordinate, have also been translated and are now available in another form.
Corresponding to BIM 360 Docs, Autodesk Docs is now offered instead, which is a product for document and data management in the cloud. With Autodesk Docs, you get access to both the BIM 360 platform and Construction Cloud.
Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, formerly BIM 360 Design, has the same content as BIM 360 Design, but also provides access to Model Coordination. If you already have a Bim 360 Design license, it has been automatically upgraded to a BIM Collaborate Pro license.
In these new offerings, Autodesk has combined the functionality of Bim 360 Coordinate and Bim 360 Design into one product, which is BIM Collaborate / BIM Collaborate Pro.
The biggest difference between BIM Collaborate and BIM Collaborate Pro is that the Pro version allows several people to work simultaneously in the models. Products that are also included in BIM Collaborate Pro are Revit Cloud Worksharing, Collaboration for Civil 3D and Collaboration for Plant 3D.
Corresponding to BIM 360 Build, Autodesk Build is now offered instead. Autodesk Build is designed to improve the collaboration and communication between production and design, meaning the construction site and the office.
Another addition to the Autodesk Construction Cloud is the product Autodesk Takeoff, which facilitates the work with quantity in both 2D and 3D.
