Description

During the course Inventor beginners course, you will learn to understand and use Autodesk Inventor. Our experienced and certified teachers take you through the program, step by step at the appropriate pace and are constantly present for questions. Theoretical reviews and demonstrations are interspersed with your own exercises where you can test and practice the various functions. The exact content and design of the course is adapted as far as possible to the participants’ prior knowledge and areas of use.

For six days you will you will learn drawing techniques, create designs, construct drawings and assemblies in Inventor. Our certified teachers take you through the program, step by step at the appropriate pace and are constantly present for questions. The content is adapted to your prior knowledge.

Course description

Target audience

The course is aimed at those who want to start using Inventor. The course is designed so that you can satisfy the course regardless of industry or area of ​​use.

Objectives with Inventor beginners course

After the course, you will have sufficient knowledge to get started and work independently with Inventor.

The goal after completing the course is that you should be able to:

Introduction

  • Understand how Inventor works and handles modeling in 3D, at a basic level.

User interface

  • Understand and customize the interface to your needs at a basic level.

Drawing technique

  • Use the right methodology to create and modify models or drawings in an efficient way and understand the flow between individual models, compilations and drawings.

3D parties

  • Create or edit 3D parts and individual models in Inventor.

Design drawings

  • Design 2D drawings based on created models, both individual parts and assemblies.

Compilations

  • Create or edit compilations and manage settings for these.

Manage BOM and display views

  • Make correct settings for pick lists / party lists in drawings and manage view views of the contents of the compilations.

Exercises

The exercises are designed so that you can practice design in Inventor. The focus is on the right methodology for you to learn to model from the beginning in the most efficient way possible combined with mass training so that you can effectively repeat basic functions in the program.

Previous knowledge

Basic knowledge of Windows and computer skills is a basic prerequisite in order to get the most out of the course as possible. Knowledge in other CAD programs is helpful, but not a requirement.

We mainly use a booklet with our own exercises as a starting point. Textbook in English is available and used for certain exercises. Cost for course material will be added.

  • Introduction to Design accelerator: Bolted Connection and Frame Generator
