Target audience

The course is aimed at those who want to perform FEA analyzes on parties and compilations within Inventor Professional. The course is a basic course where you, regardless of industry, background or area of ​​use, should be able to satisfy yourself with the course.

Objective with Inventor FEM advanced course

After the course, you should be able to do FEM analyzes and movement simulations as well as evaluate and use the results.

After completing the course you should be able to:

Introduction
Understand how the FEM module works and be able to set up analyzes as needed

User interface
Understand and use the interface according to your needs

Mesh
Understand and create mesh with good quality

Convergence
Understand and use the tools that optimize mesh until you reach convergence

Simplify your load case
Understand and use the right element type for your analysis

Natural frequency
Set up modal analysis for self-oscillation

Static load analysis
Set up analysis for static load cases

Dynamic (motion) load analysis
Set up analysis for movements, interpret results and transfer the forces to static load cases

Exercises

The exercises are laid out where different analyzes must be used and where most of the different loads are applied.
