Do you work in the building industry or are you just curious about 3D modeling? Revit AEC beginners course is for you who want to get an understanding of the program's design, functionality and methodology to work with 3D modeling.
The Revit AEC beginners course is designed so that, regardless of industry or background, you will gain a good understanding of the program’s design, functionality and methodology for working with 3D modeling in the program. This is a basic course that will prepare you for the next step in your training, where you choose what you want to focus on.

The course is aimed at those who work with building construction and want to learn a modern 3D modeling tool (BIM). It is equally suitable for you who want to use Revit for private use and for you who are just curious about testing 3D modeling. The course is designed so that you, regardless of industry, background or areas of use, will be able to take part in the course.
After completing the course, you will have sufficient knowledge of Revit to be able to take on the next step in Revit in an optimal way. The goal after completing the course is that you should be able to:
Understand the concept of BIM, bidirectional associativity and parametric relations in Revit.
Understand the user interface and be able to explain parametric objects and families.
Use editing commands and drawing tools.
Create simpler floors, composite walls and ceilings and be able to work with doors and windows.
Load and modify component families.
Create and manage all types of views, work with floor plans and manage and customize the display of objects in different views.
Change and adapt materials in the building model.
Use measurement and conditions and work with text and letters.
Create basic lists, layouts and drawings.
The exercises are pedagogically designed so that you can practice modeling in Revit. The focus is on the right methodology for you to learn to work in the most efficient way possible from the beginning.
Basic knowledge of Windows and computer skills is a basic prerequisite for a good course. Knowledge of other 3D programs or AutoCAD is helpful, but not required.
We use an English course material that contains both theory and practical exercises. In some cases, we also supplement with our own examples and exercises. Cost for course material will be added.
Do you not have the opportunity to come to any of our offices? No problem! Through remote connection, you still get the opportunity to use the software on our powerful course computers and follow the exercises our course leaders go through.
